Price Attack delivers $500,000 in essential care products to Australians in need

Leading haircare retailer Price Attack has delivered just under half a million dollars in product donations, providing essential haircare and hygiene items to charities across Australia- including Ronald McDonald House Southeast Queensland, Australian Red Cross and Good360 last month.

Price Attack CEO John Pascoe said the donation milestone was something the company was incredibly proud of not just because of the number itself, but because of the bigger picture of a support strategy focused on helping people maintain dignity through access to personal care products.

The achievement was possible thanks to a series of major donations supported by long-term logistics partners Mainfreight and Chemcouriers, marking one of the largest community giving initiatives in the company's history.

This brings the total donations, since 2023, close to one million dollars’ worth of products distributed through charity partners, helping Australians experiencing hardship access everyday essentials that are often out of reach during difficult times.

Ronald McDonald House Southeast Queensland CEO Emma Thompson said even small comforts could have a big impact.

"Something as simple as a shower at the end of a long day can feel like a luxury," Ms Thompson said. "Access to basics like shampoo and conditioner makes a real difference -especially for families who've spent all day at the hospital or travelled long distances."

In 2025 alone, 5,749 families stayed at Ronald McDonald House Southeast Queensland, accounting for 43,580 room night- highlighting the scale of need for everyday essentials that can make a tough time just a little easier.

"Families staying at Ronald McDonald House are often far from home, juggling travel costs, medical expenses and emotional strain," Mr Pascoe said. "Haircare may seem like a small thing, but it's a luxury in these circumstances. We hope this donation provides not just one moment of care, but thousands of small moments of relief for mums-and dads-supporting their children through recovery.”

The Ronald McDonald House donation formed part of a broader philanthropic program that has also seen significant product donations provided to charities supporting people experiencing homelessness and women affected by domestic and family violence. Together, the organisations use donated goods to support individuals and families facing financial hardship, housing insecurity and other life challenges.
