POOLWERX EMPOWERS FRANCHISE PARTNERS WITH NEW SENIOR LEADER

The world’s largest global pool service franchise Poolwerx has appointed Ms Kellie Cranch to the
newly-created role Chief of Franchise Development, with Kellie’s task to facilitate growth within the
network across all regions. Kellie brings a unique perspective to the role, having previously made the
leap from franchisee before moving to management roles within some of Australia’s largest food
franchise businesses.

Due to her experience working with iconic Australian small businesses, Kellie has an intimate
understanding of the Australian business landscape, how to be successful in a challenging market, and
what potential franchise partners should be looking for when entering the market.
Kellie’s expertise in the franchising world from both sides of the equation, positions her as the ideal
candidate to help Poolwerx franchise partners maximise their opportunities as she lends her broader
expertise to the senior leadership team. With a keen interest in Poolwerx for some time, Kellie is thrilled
to join the brand.

“Poolwerx has always been a business I have admired due to their reputation within the franchise
sector and innovation within the pool services industry,” Ms Cranch said. “John O’Brien’s standing
within the industry is impressive, as is the growth of Poolwerx into a successful international brand.
Bringing in what I’ve learnt to assist Franchisees to grow their businesses and for a Franchisor to
achieve its growth targets, Poolwerx is the perfect transition for me.”

Poolwerx Chief Operating Officer Nic Brill said that Kellie brings invaluable experience to the business
as she understands what it means to be a franchise owner.

“Kellie knows exactly what our current and prospective franchise partners are going through, because
she’s experienced those challenges herself,” Mr Brill said. “She’s built her expertise over more than a
decade across two of our operating countries (Australia and NZ) so is well versed to support our
network to become even more profitable. We are thrilled to welcome Kellie to the senior leadership
team as we continue to set a new standard in business.”

Kellie’s role will see her focus on new recruitment for franchise partners, re-sales, leases,
refurbishments and project management to help build Poolwerx businesses for franchise partners.
Poolwerx was founded in Australia 30 years ago and has become the world’s largest global pool
service brand with over 160 retail outlets and 600 mobile vans in 350+ territories across Australia, New
Zealand and the United States. To find out more visit www.poolwerx.com.au
