The iconic bright yellow cafe group scales up its footprint with back-to-back openings in Eastern Creek and Parramatta, ahead of a new flagship store & innovation hub in Homebush.
Piccolo Me is picking up the pace in 2026, officially opening the doors to two new locations this month. Following a successful launch in Eastern Creek, the brand celebrated a second grand opening on Parramatta’s busy Church Street alongside Parramatta city Councillor Tanya Raffoul in April.

A Focus on Innovation and Training
The momentum is set to continue with the launch of a new flagship store in Homebush, scheduled for late May. This site is designed to be the new "engine room" for the brand’s next chapter, featuring dedicated spaces for staff training and product development.
"We’ve always seen our stores as more than just coffee shops; they’re places for the community to connect," says Roy El Hachem, Co-Founder of Piccolo Me. "Opening in Eastern Creek and Parramatta is about growing the Piccolo Me family and making sure that as we get bigger, we keep providing the same great experience to our customers and local communities.”
Meeting Market Demand
As the Australian hospitality industry evolves, there is an increasing demand for brands that offer quality, speed and a genuine "local cafe" feel. Piccolo Me’s growth, both nationally and internationally, suggests that its menu innovation and strong operational system centered model is hitting the right note with both franchisees and customers.
The Homebush flagship in Goodman business park will play a critical role in maintaining this consistency. By centralising training and R&D, the brand ensures that its signature "bold & fun" approach to food and drink is backed by strong professional, scalable standards.
Group General Manager, David Ciantar states, “Part of our 3 year plan is to be open minded with our development plan and look at opportunities we may have never previously considered. In due course, this may include smaller type shopping centres, and retail precincts. The recent store openings have seen great community acceptance of our brand.”
