KX LAUNCHES KX INSTITUTE TO EXPAND ACCESS TO INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

KX Pilates has unveiled the next evolution of its education offering with the launch of KX Institute, a new digitally led platform designed to make instructor certification more accessible, flexible and aligned with modern learning demands.

The move marks a significant shift for the premium Pilates brand, which has historically delivered training internally, with the Institute now opening access to a broader audience beyond its studio network.

The KX Institute introduces a suite of entry level certifications, including Dynamic Mat, Dynamic Reformer and a combined pathway, each delivering 20 CPD points and requiring no prior fitness qualifications.

Delivered via an interactive, self paced digital platform, KX Institute combines flexibility with structured support through integrated mentorship. Learners can access regular mentor touchpoints throughout their training, offering guidance and accountability often lacking in fully online models.

Steff Doney, Education & Mentor Lead, KX Institute, said the model has been designed to reflect how modern instructors want to learn and build their careers.

“Our approach to the KX Institute is about removing barriers to entry. The model combines flexible self-paced learning with mentorship from KX Institute certified trainers. It gives instructors the confidence, practical skills and support they need to succeed.”

KX Pilates CEO Selina Bridge said the flexible approach reflects changing expectations across both the fitness industry and education sector.

“Our hybrid model empowers learners to train anytime, anywhere, on their own terms - without the need to be near a KX Pilates studio - while still benefiting from the expert guidance often missing from fully online education.”

In addition to its core certifications, KX Institute is launching a range of short courses to support ongoing professional development, including strength and conditioning for Pilates, and pre and post natal training.
