JAX Tyres & Auto Slacks Creek Franchisee Celebrates 20 Years of Local Service

JAX Tyres & Auto Slacks Creek franchisee, James Sullivan, is proudly celebrating 20 years of delivering trusted automotive services to the Slacks Creek community.

Over the past two decades, James has built a strong reputation for customer service, reliability and adaptability. With a background in corporate travel management, his transition into automotive service was driven by a desire to move into a more hands-on, customer-focused industry where he could build long-term relationships within his local community.

Under his leadership, the business has continued to evolve with changing customer expectations, supporting local drivers with everything from routine tyre and mechanical services through to more complex automotive needs, while maintaining a strong focus on tailored, personal service.

On the milestone, JAX Tyres & Auto Slacks Creek franchisee, James Sullivan says: “The industry has changed significantly over the last 20 years, but what hasn’t changed is the importance of relationships and trust. Seeing customers come back year after year and being relied upon to look after their vehicles is what makes it worthwhile.”

James adds, “Customers are far more informed now, with set expectations around price and service before they even walk through the door. At the same time, there’s less face-to-face interaction, so the in-store experience and trust you build once they arrive is more important than ever.”

A key strength of the Slacks Creek business has been its strong team continuity, with a low staff turnover and others returning to the workshop after taking time away, maintaining high levels of industry and local knowledge to best serve the community.

April Harwood, Chief Franchising Operations Officer of JAX Tyres & Auto says: “Long-standing franchisees like James are a vital part of the JAX network”.
