JAX Tyres & Auto Penrith franchisee, Brent Metcalfe, is proudly celebrating 15 years of delivering trusted automotive services to the local community.
Since joining JAX Tyres & Auto, Brent has built a reputation for honest advice, reliable service and developing a highly skilled team. Originally from New Zealand with a background working on a dairy farm, his switch to the automotive industry was driven by a simple piece of advice - success comes from doing something you are passionate about and good at.
Under Brent’s leadership, the Penrith business has continued to evolve alongside changing customer expectations, supporting local drivers with quality products and comprehensive tyre and automotive services, while maintaining a strong focus on personalised customer care.
On the milestone, Brent Metcalfe, JAX Tyres & Auto Penrith franchisee says: “The industry has changed significantly over the past 15 years, particularly with customers becoming more focused on price and researching their options before making a decision. While products have evolved, what remains important is providing honest advice, quality workmanship and a level of service that customers can trust.”
Family and people have always been at the heart of the Penrith business, with Brent creating a workplace culture that supports career growth and has helped build a team of long-standing employees who continue to deliver reliable service to the local community. His two daughters have also played an important role in the business's success, working alongside him and contributing through their product knowledge and commitment to customer service.
Brent adds, “I don't think I would have reached this milestone without the amazing people around me. Ryan, our Leading Hand of Tyre and Warehousing, has an incredible work ethic and the way he mentors our team has helped build a reputation for quality, while Justin, our Store Manager, has become my go-to person who can solve just about any challenge. Having both of my daughters supporting me every day is also something I'm incredibly grateful for, and they've played a huge role in taking the business to where it is today.”
Supporting the local community has remained a consistent priority for Brent, with the Penrith team proudly sponsoring local sporting organisations including Penrith Panthers, Emu Plains Rugby Club and Glenmore Park Brumbies, helping young athletes and local families stay connected through sport.
Operating since 1949, JAX Tyres & Auto began its franchising journey in 1993 and has since grown into a national network of over 94 locations, with 89 independently owned by franchisees. Today, the brand supports more than 1,000 employees across Australia.
