The Yiros Shop doubles its network!
While the last few months has brought on waves of uncertainty triggered by the global pandemic, The Yiros Shop Founder, Nick Mitrossilis said that it hasn’t impacted their expansion plans or business sales.
“We have seen our business model transition to an online delivery food service operation and we’ve been able to successfully re-open stores for dine-in and takeaway across Brisbane in the last couple of months. On top of this, we’ve continued with our growth plans,” he said.
The news comes off the back of their ability to keep trading during the COVID-19 lockdown period and has also paved the way for their new locations to boom across Queensland. Their Stafford store opened its doors back in May and has already seen a loyal customer-base frequenting the local authentic Greek hangout, while their online delivery orders have gone through the roof – thanks to their new online system with Redcat and multiple delivery partners.
Another new store recently opened in the suburb of Albion and is situated at the popular Albion Central, Shop 6, 6 Crosby Road, Albion 4010. This new location coincided with the announcement of an exciting dessert partnership with Allora Gelato, bringing Greek inspired Baklava, Nutella Baklava and Panna Cotta Gelato. Adding to the crowd favourites are homemade Baklava and Nutella Baklava pastries, giving customers even more reasons to love The Yiros Shop!
There’s no stopping The Yiros Shop team with continued growth expected in the coming months with new locations confirmed for yet-to-be-named suburbs on the Gold Coast. Rumour has it that the first Gold Coast store could be open for business from as soon as November 2020!
The additional stores bring the total number of The Yiros Shops’ to almost ten sites, joining the originals in South Brisbane, Newmarket, Cannon Hill, Capalaba and Fortitude Valley.
“It’s been awesome to see this new franchise brand grow and grow. Their business offering is modern, transparent and the real deal! The food really is incredible – but anyone who has eaten there knows that already,” said James Young, Head of Franchise Sales and Development at DC Strategy.
